Những kết luận mới của luận án:

1. Xây dựng cơ sở lý luận về quản lý giáo dục quốc phòng - an ninh (GDQP-AN) cho sinh viên (SV) các trường đại học (ĐH) Việt Nam trong bối cảnh mới, trên cơ sở phân tích những quan điểm khác nhau trong lịch sử về vấn đề nghiên cứu Luận án đã đề xuất hệ thống khái niệm mới về GDQP-AN cho SV.
Luận án đã đề xuất được những nội dung quản lý GDQP-AN cho SV các trường ĐH, bao gồm: Quản lý về mục tiêu, nội dung chương trình, phương pháp dạy học GDQP-AN, quản lý về hình thức dạy học GDQP-AN cho SV, quản lý đội ngũ cán bộ, giảng viên GDQP-AN, quản lý cơ sở vật chất, phương tiện dạy học GDQP-AN và đã đề xuất cơ chế phối hợp các lực lượng quản lý trong GDQP-AN.

2. Làm rõ được thực trạng về GDQP-AN cho SV các trường ĐH trong bối cảnh mới, trong đó đã đánh giá được thực trạng quản lý GDQP-AN cho SV ở các trường ĐH hiện nay, đã tổng kết kinh nghiệm quốc tế về GDQP-AN, chỉ ra những nhân tố tác động đến GDQP-AN cho SV các trường ĐH trong tình hình hiện nay.

3. Luận án đã xây dựng được hệ thống giải pháp quản lý GDQP-AN cho SV các trường ĐH Việt nam trong bối cảnh mới, bao gồm 5 giải pháp, các giải pháp này mang tính khả thi phù hợp với thực tiễn quản lý GDQP-AN trong tình hình hiện nay.

New findings of the Thesis:

1. Develop theory on management of national defence – security education for students of Vietnam universities in the new context. On basis of analysing different points of views in the history of research in question, the Thesis has proposed new concept system on the national defence – security for students.
The Thesis has proposed management contents of national defence – security education for university students, including: management of objectives, contents of programme, method of teaching national defence – security education subject, management of forms of teaching national defence – security education for students, management of national defence – security education staff and lecturers, management of facilities, teaching instruments of national defence – security education and proposed the mechanism on coordination by the management forces in national defence – security education.

2. Point out the status of national defence – security education for university students in the new context, including assessment of management status of national defence – security education for university students at present; summarize international experiences on national defence – security education; point out the factors affecting the national defence – security education for university students in the present time.

3. The Thesis has developed a measure system for management of national defence – security education for students of Vietnam universities in the new context, including five measures which are feasible and suitable to the management practice of national defence – security education in the existing situtation.
